Some of my work clothes...

I have been wearing mostly pants to work for the last 3 weeks. Well there were those 2 times that a skirt magically show up. I pleaded the fifth and couldn't or wouldn't take full responsibility for the slip!

However most days I've been a good and responsible work-attire follower. Unfortunately I haven't been able to take many photos. I leave the house early and come back a bit late and have to do many duties and chores before finally get settled in for the evening, and by that time I'm too tired to take any pictures. Also I have not liked many of my work outfits and even though my new co workers tell me that "I dress very nice", I haven't been so pleased with my outfits.

So here are few of the ones that I got to take pictures of and that I felt good and comfortable in as well as  followed the job rules...

No Boundaries pants from Target from 7 years ago.
Black shirt also from Target.
Nicole Lee purse.
Turquoise and turquoise-like necklaces and bracelets some are from few years back some are a couple of months old.

Bisou Bisou capris.
Madison Michelle shirt. My old and so comfortable Easy Spirits mary janes.
St John's Bay bag.
Bracelets are from the 90's and the 2000's.
Some of the necklaces are real others are a really good copy.
One of the purchased retail, the others all thrifted.

Kenar pants from Marshalls about 3 years old.
Old shirt from Target and AMI jacket from Steinmart.
Old brown flats from Target. Rampage bag.
Two of the bracelets are hand painted and the other one is from Peru.

Be Bop capris pants. Thifted silk shirt.
Old moccasins from Marshalls and thrifted belt.
Green purse from New York and company.

No Boundaries long shorts pants from JCPenneys.
Old Target shirt.  Thrifted Mossimo bolero jacket.
Hula girl purse from a small Miami Beach store.
Sterling necklace and earrings were a gift from my old supervisor.
Bracelets are from many of the places that I lived before.

Cardigan from Target.
Nicole Miller Blouse around 7 years old.
Thrifted orange belt. Lapis purse from Marshalls.
Earrings, pin and bracelets are all from Indian and were purchased here in South Florida or giving to me as presents.
Gap pants, just thrifted two days ago.
My Summer job is 15 minutes away from my favorite Salvation Army store; imagine what I being doing every Wednesday (all clothings, shoes and bags are half price) and Friday (75% off of clothings, etc.)????
I'm only able to spend a small amount of money but I still finding great bargains and I'm really enjoying the trill of paying $3.50 for a pair of Gap trousers!!!

you know Ofelia, it's a nice change to wear pants. Every single outfit you put together is fantastic not only the clothing but the way you accessorize. And the bags..... I am a bag addict. I love them all. Why can't you wear a skirt?

BTW, I cannot imagine that you could put together something that is not special and great. You would make a great stylist. Also doing displays for stores. I used to watch the stylists do the stores at Barney's in Manhattan. amazing.

You have some totally awesome clothes and I love your bags. But I wonder about how you store them. Mine are falling around all over my closet. Today I'm going to work on getting everything straight. Bags are the worst to keep straight.

Paula, thank you so much!
The work place rules regarding attire is slacks only.
The are moments when I really don't like what I wore but I got to get out of the door and make it to work.
I used to watch Barney's and Macy's window get dressed up when I lived in NYC. I also took a tour during two winters to just go see all the stores displays and them go eat at 12:00 am. It was amazing.

Paula, the Salvation Army store that I go to has half price of all clothings, shoes and bags on Wednesdays and Fridays is 75% off. I don't know about the other Salvation Army because all of them have different sales days.

Judy, you are so right mine are falling on my head all the time as well!
I'm also trying to get some colorful bags or containers that I can store them in a better way.

You wear pants so well, I don't think there's anything you couldn't dress in and not make it your own with your gorgeous smile and talent for accessorising.

It's hard when you are so busy to catch the light and the relaxation to snap good photos. I like all of these looks, but the last one, the oranges, would be my favorite.

I'm so tired when I get home from work that in almost 4 weeks these were the only times that I was able to get into the photo mood

Yoana, I understand about putting our closet in order!
At the moment mine is a bit of a mess and my bags are overflowing the closet so I have to find a way to keep them in place "pronto".

Ofelia, I think it's understandable that after a hard day of work it's a bit difficult to snap photos. I know I wouldn't be able to do so! I love that you post photos of your work attire! I, for one, have always been curious regarding what fashionista's wear to work! :) I'm with the rest of the commenters, you have some nifty bags! I especially like the Lapis purse in the last photo!

Bella, I usually wear lots of more color to my regular job but I must wear slacks to my summer job.
I'm a purse-a-holic, I know it and I don't think I want to be cure from it!
