This is the mother's day post that I've been trying to post since Wednesday.
Just like many of others I had to deal with Blogger not blogging as well as deleting my posts, some of drafts and some of my comments..... AH, AH, AH. Love You Blogger!
I wake up not too early to find this beautiful and very pink bag
Inside this extra large pinky-a-maniac bag was ....
An equally extra large a fantastically yellow St John's Bay purse with a
giant colorful butterfly!
I also got this lovely and very peachy necklace and earrings.
My oldest daughter took us out to eat an early dinner (5:00 p.m.) at our favorite
Peruvian restaurant. She just got into her college dean list as she is
finishing her science associate. She already has been accepted into
a major Florida university and will be leaving in the Fall with her boyfriend, whom is
going to the same college. I'll be crying and posting about it!
Sunday was my youngest daughter's last Oliver show. It had just finished before
we headed to the restaurant and she was still
overjoyed with excitement. She is wearing the dress I wore for her
sister's communion and my purple necklaces and bracelets.
Patiently waiting for our food.
My ceviche. Extra Yum!
My oldest daughter ceviche. She wanted to start eating right away, forget about
pictures.
Youngest girl arroz con habichuela y pollo a la brasa.
We love to eat the restaurant unions with their different types of sauces.
La Brasa is very popular with the local Peruvians as well
as the rest of us because it is affordable, the food is well prepared
and the staff is very friendly.
By the restaurant entrance...
I wore my old A.N.A. Sandals.
My new necklace with some of my old gold
and gold-like bracelets.
Shirt is from Marshalls, I don't know the brand because the tag was very scratchy and I cut it out. Its a bit large on me and it kept getting out from inside the skirt. My Indian skirt, thrifted two months ago.
Paul Brent purse, its all made of a canvas and has some intricate tile-like design inside.
I got it at Marshalls about 5 years ago.
I don't know if this town by the sea exits, but it should.

Now that you think I am a total nut I will say goodbye. :-)

Your daughters are just beautiful too! I love your Seaside-print bag. And the Peruvian restaurant looks great - have never tried that cuisine, it is really hard to get anything other than Brazilian steakhouses over here when it comes to South American food! xx

Sarah, thanks so much my darling!
Ceviche is consider the national dish for Peru; is made with a variety of fresh seafood or fish. The raw fish or raw seafood is marinated in lemon or lime and spiced with peppers and other ingredients.
The rest of the plate is food that usually accompany ceviche like unions, lettuce, sweet potatoes, corn and peanuts. These are use to compliment the palate and all the species from the fish.
Loo, thanks so much. We like to eat and get together and eat and drink so more!
My girls did a great job with my big yellow purse and my bag is quite unusual and that's what attracted me to it.
The nyanzi report, thanks so much for commenting on my blog and for your lovely praise.
Hope Adela Pasztor, I realized that I own a lot of blue and like you said gold looks great with blue.

Sacramento, gracias mi querida amiga!
Tu sabes que soy un poquito obsecionada con las carteras y estas (las dos) me encantan.
Happy belated Mother's day to you.
Like clockwork you post pics and my eyes goes straight to your awesome handbags. I think they merit a separate post. They really are quite a great bunch of handbags and purses!
Bella, thanks so much!
I'm very blessed to have accumulated such a collection with my small available budget. Thanks to years of bargain retail shopping, years of thrifting all over our beautiful country and thanks to so many fantastic friends, co-workers and family members that are so kind to me with their gifts!
That bag is a piece of ART! How gorgeous is that--and you are so right--if that place doesnt exist; IT SHOULD! LOL
My youngest just graduated from college! He is off now to CA; spreading his wings!
Paula, I was very glad and lucky to find my bag because it was the only one of its king at the store and it was very reasonable priced.
Our little birds do need to spread their wings!
