After not seen each other for about 2 years Maria and I are trying to keep the going out... well, going!
Sunday we decided to continue our conversations about life, the pursuit of happiness and about what the hell is going on with South Florida that everything is so darn expensive!
I decided to look like a Floridian or as my interpretation of one.
Hence the funky glasses, a gift from oldest
daughter because she knows I love "funky glasses".
Necklaces from The Philippines, thrifted a
couple of weeks ago. Bracelets from DOTS.
The Charter Club shirt I thrifted last month.
New York&Company Shorts (about 6 years old).
They are a little big on me but that's the way I like
to wear my shorts.
Mudd sandals purchased in 2008 at Marshalls.
I dedicated this pictures to my new blogger friend from
Mode Plus. She wore a great shorts outfit
this week and inspired me to post these photos.
My Andy Warhol's tomato soup
bag purchased back in 2009.
Here we are at my favorite English Pub again!
The bar chairs are my favorite place to
sit. I love all the lights, photos and
little mementos that are all
around the bar.
Lovely Maria waiting for our drinks
and pretzels. For me one drink is more
than enough. I never been a big drinker not even
during my college years. I always preferred to save my
money to buy clothes.
I told the bartender they should make
tshirts with this phrase on it. I'll buy one!
The Guinness is mine, the wine is Maria's.
One pretzel for each of us.
The mustard is my thing; I love a bit of
spice in everything.
I might give this ale a try on my next visit.
Here is the classic phone bus full of
cool shirts for the those who need
to remember where they got drunk.
These signs are by the bathroom area; they are there just
to confuse the tipsy patrons.
I mean New Zealand and England in the
same area of the planet?
They are messing with your heads, my drunks!
After about 3 hours of fun and laughs and some deep and not so deep conversations,
it was time to go home.
We came when it was light and left when it was dark!

Hi my dear-a really lovely casual chic look, I'm adoring your Andy Warhol bag too! Sounds like you both had a fabulous time, hope you have a good weekend too xx
Fun experience! A good time among friends is the best way to pass the time. Love this pub and all the decoration of it. I am delighted to have found you and I will continue onwards. Love your adventures ...
Sharon, we did have a great time! Here I'm wearing pink; just like your recent post!
Rosy, thank you very much for reading, commenting and following my blog!
I agree with you, having fun with friends is a great pass time and it does alleviate some of our daily life stresses.
how fun! Good that you are keeping your girls night alive and thriving. your style is awesome.
what is more important than laughing? Laughing some more.
Paula, you are so right; we must laughed often and vigorously!
I can't remember my last girls' night out. I agree on wearing the shorts a big big. Admiring Andy's soup can.
Terri, I tried to do girl's night out at least once or twice a month. It doesn't always work but when it does I have loads of fun!
You look lovely and looks like a great night out, i have never seen pretzels that big, ours are small little crisps, they look good, thank you for the lovely comment, loving your glasses too :)
It looks like you have a lovely evening! I love that tote- and your whole look- very Cali to me- but maybe Florida and California rock a similar style. Wishing you a very happy Easter weekend!
the Citizen Rosebud
Clairejustine, (may I said that I love your name!) it was lots of fun and you are right, pretzels are usually smaller than this ones. Despite their size they were very good.
Bella, I do believe that FL and CA share some similar style. I love the retro 40's and 50's style that a lot of people had when I lived in San Diego back in '99.
So tell me Ofelia, what defines So. Florida style? (love it by the way; have i told you I am geographically misplaced?--I should be THERE!)
NE Style? tends to be conservative and GREY!
Paula, lots of shorts, sunglasses, very tight jeans, lots of t-shirts, flower skirts and sandals!
Maybe this is just what I see!
