Thursday I wore this outfit to go to work and to go to Improv Night at my daughter's high school...
My Isaac Mizrahi capris (about 6 years old).
Grace Element cardigan, one of the last
items that I paid retail price for (2 1/2 years ago).
A.V.E. L.A. shirt from the men's section at Target (6 years old).
This is another one of my Jimi's shirts,
its made in Pakistan and is incredibly soft!
My beloved INS purse. Its made in part
of silk and sequin. I also paid retail price
for this purse (4 years old). Old Converse
tennis shoes.
The shirt says: Jimi Hendrix Experience, Tim Buckley,
Moby Grape, Captain Speed...
The long necklace was giving to me by my supervisor back
in the summer of '09. It has many symbols; including the hamsa
a dove with a white bead, hearts and lots of peace signs.
The other silver ones are from QVC
from the late 90's.
The round bracelet was my first purchase when
I first move to The USA in '88. I got it
at an antique fair in Clearwater, Florida.
I bought the crosses bracelet here back in 2001 and
the other two are from a local retail store.

The challenge with the purse is that the zipper is
horizontal instead of vertical.
I'm the the pink one by the third row and next to me is
my friend Shefali and many of the my daughter's drama friend's parents.
Most of us have known each other for more than 5 years,
since the kids were in middle school.
This was the opening band, more people show up
later on. The improv show was hilarious and
we were laughing so hard and loudly that a friend saw
me at the bathroom during the intermission and told
me that she recognized my laugh from the front row!
It was just great!

Improv night was so much fun!
My daughter was part of the it last fall but she couldn't be part of this show because of all her other projects.
Does your daughter do improv? I am very impressed by anyone who has the self-confidence to do that.

Terri, my daughter did improv last year and she been involved in theater for the last 3 years.
I have an emotional connection with my jewelry, purses and clothes and that's why I remember when I purchased them.
