My friend, Carol was so kind she got us tickets and she also picked us up and dropped us off.
The concert was Seraphic Fire and Firebird Chambers Orchestra and it was titled "Out Of Babylon".
It included sacred and secular choral words with a culturally rich mix of ethnic and religious background chorus members. It was incredible!! The Gregorian like chants with a mixture of Middle Eastern, Indian and Jewish influences was beautiful. The temple is absolutely gorgeous inside and the intimate setting made the experience so more intense and beautiful. Great, great times.
I wore my new shirt (Venissac) and capris (Parahrase) from my thrifting adventure about 2 weeks ago.
My Italian Sandals (5 years old). Another of my Nicole Lee purses (3 years old). Accessories all gifts from my kids and my Mami.

The program; I'm in love with the program design!

Lovely Carol and I!

The Temple entrance.
The inside the area where the performance took place.

Another view, the yellow and brown details are magnificent!

The Temple ceiling lights.

Details. By now you should realized that I was mesmorized by the Temple colors and design!!!

Walking on the streets of Miami Beach!

It was freezing for us!! Besides being 55 degrees it was very windy!

The concert just ended!

The new Philharmonic building.

Food at last, we ate around 11:00 p.m.

Carol and I, stuffing our mouths!!!!

The music sounds divine! I'm trying to imagine Gregorian chant with middle eastern influences. Is the temple a mosque? Some of the decor seems to have that influence. The food looks delicious too.
Sarah, good music makes one foget everything! We did had loads of fun! Thank you about my outfit!
Terri, it was divine!!! The Temple is one of the oldest Jewish Temples in Miami Beach. And the food was very good; plus we were so hungry that anything would tasted great!

Kudos to you for the print pants! I love them, but they can be tricky, don't you think? Also love the design on the program. Am like Terri--very curious as to what that sounded like!

Paula, It sound heavenly! They have sell cd's on their website. Last Saturday (Feb. 12th) was very cold in Miami Beach (I mean cold for us)!
You've described what sounds like a truly lovely evening. You look chic and I love your friend's plaid shawl. As well as the Temple- is that mosaic tile-work on the walls? It makes me think of Spanish tile for some reason- beautiful.
Bella, thanks for your lovely observations and the Temple wall are made from mosaic and the brown design(stars) are are made from wood.
